An amazing experience for Alex, Hannah, Jacob and James at the 9th Heron Island conference on "Reactive Intermediates and Unusual Molecules". We saw koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, turtles, stingrays and a whole host of other things! Some incredible sunsets too.

A warm welcome to our new PhD student Hannah Askey, who is joining us from the University of Leeds. Hannah is funded by the University of Bath and is working on photoredox catalysis for azacycle synthesis.

Jacob Turner-Dore joins the group as a PhD student
A warm welcome to our new PhD student Jacob Turner-Dore, who is joining us from the University of Bath after an MChem project in our group. Jacob is funded on an EPSRC-Syngenta iCASE award and is working on development and understanding of photoredox reactions guided by compact mass spectrometry as an analytical technique.
